Fly me to... AMALFI COAST
They say the sirens who lured Ulysses still swim here.
The Amalfi Coast, a jewel clinging to the cliffs of southern Italy, unfurls along a winding coastal road from Sorrento to Salerno, offering some of the most breathtaking views in Europe. The water is so blue, you’ll want to drop everything and dive in. And when hunger strikes, spaghetti alle vongole and other sea-born delights turn every stop into a celebration of la dolce vita, a road trip for the senses. Shall we take you there?

THE DOLCE VITA TOUR
Start in Naples, where pizza is a religion and the markets burst with colour and chaos. Then follow the coastal road to Positano, where houses tumble into the sea and lunch is grilled barefoot at Da Adolfo. A little further, Amalfi welcomes you with lemon terraces and monastic serenity at Monastero Santa Rosa.
Finally, sail to Capri for a last taste of island glamour, beach club lunches, sunset cocktails, and dinners beneath the lemon trees of Da Paolino
Along the way: cliffside drives, Mediterranean light, and the feeling that life is best enjoyed slowly.
We love Amalfi Coast for…
At Gino Sorbillo’s, it’s all about sun-ripened tomatoes, pillowy dough, and melting mozzarella. A cult favorite where each bite is a love letter to Naples.
Torretta market, Santa Chiara’s cloister, colorful alleys and open-air scenes, this city doesn’t whisper, it sings, with ceramic treasures and everyday theatre.
Hop on a boat and dock at Da Adolfo for grilled fish and house wine served beneath the rocks. Simple, sun-soaked luxury with salt on your skin.
Think handmade sandals in Positano, majolica ceramics in Vietri, sweet bites from Andrea Pansa and a starry-eyed dinner at Rossellinis, overlooking the sea.
The Emerald Grotto shimmers like a dream, cool, magical, and the perfect pause between two sun-drenched swims.
From Sorrento’s hanging gardens to Amalfi’s hand-painted plates, lemons reign supreme, perfuming lanes, desserts, and candlelit dinners alike.
Weisse’s selection
High above Positano, Villa Treville welcomes you into a refined retreat, nestled in lush gardens that cascade down to the sea. Once a private residence, now a boutique hotel, it exudes theatrical charm, flower-filled terraces, hidden alcoves, and a private path leading to the beach. Here, time slows. Each room unveils its own unique character, wrapped in silence and Mediterranean light. At sunset, the view over the bay is nothing short of unforgettable.
Another iconic address in Positano, Le Sirenuse blends Italian elegance with sun-drenched, colourful luxury. Its 58 rooms and suites, adorned with handcrafted ceramic tiles and antique furniture, invite daydreaming and quiet indulgence. The owners, passionate art collectors, showcase their private collection throughout the hotel, and since 2015, have curated a contemporary program with Silka Rittson-Thomas. In the lemon-toned salons overlooking the sea, conviviality mingles with the scent of salt air, while the bar, perched above the pastel rooftops, offers unforgettable cocktails against a backdrop of shimmering blue.
Leave Positano behind and head to Amalfi, the former maritime republic, where the Monastero Santa Rosa awaits, a former convent perched dramatically on the cliffs. Owned by the same family for four generations, this immaculate estate tumbles down to the sea through terraced citrus gardens. Its 66 rooms exude old-world charm, while a pool, reached by an elevator carved into the rock, and a restaurant highlighting garden-grown produce complete this Italian dream. For lunch, head to Marina Grande.
Set sail for Capri, that glittering jewel floating in sapphire waters. Settle in at La Palma, a hotel of delicate architecture and chic seaside charm. At noon, Il Riccio Beach Club welcomes you for a feast by the water’s edge. In the evening, dine under a canopy of lemon trees at Da Paolino, where unforgettable spaghetti is served in a fairy-tale setting. The next day, wander through the narrow streets, fall for a bottle of artisanal limoncello, and take in the view from the Gardens of Augustus. As you leave, the Amalfi Coast slips from sight, leaving only a promise to return.

The story
” I’ll never tire of taking the people I love to places where beauty moves slowly. This time, it was the Amalfi Coast. A road suspended between sea and sky, lemons spilling down the hillsides, and that salty breeze in the air.
We walked, we swam, we toasted, we wandered with no agenda. But what stays with me are the quiet moments, the shared glances, the laughter on a hidden path, and that rare, simple feeling of being exactly where we were meant to be.
Until the next stop.”
